The city is among the areas in West Yorkshire that has recently had tighter lockdown restrictions enforced, alongside Calderdale and Kirklees. The second biggest increase in cases was seen in Leeds, with 19 newly confirmed cases, while Kirklees saw an increase of 16 cases and Sheffield had an increase of 13.
