MetiNews.Com - A charity has issued a warning to cat owners in Doncaster after a number of incidents
Breaking News ! Cat owners are being warned to be vigilant after a spate of reports that cats are being grabbed during broad daylight in Doncaster. The worrying incidents have been reported in the town since the weekend and the Doncaster branch of Cats Action Trust have issued a warning to owners. Karen Beevers at the trust said in one incident a couple were caught on CCTV snatching a cat in broad daylight. She said: "The incidents have been cats being taken in broad daylight. "On Saturday at 11.30am in full view of CCTV cameras a couple could be seen taking a cat called Charlie. They also attempted to take a second cat also belonging to the same lady, but thankfully he ran off. "The other incident was on Sunday afternoon, where a couple matching the same description tried to grab a cat that turned out to be feral.
. We would advise cat owners are vigilant about keeping their cats close to home, and definitely keep them in after dark or if the owner is not home. "When there's no one home keep your car in the house wherever possible. "The incidents happened in the Lakeside area and in Doncaster town centre.
