Breaking News ! No new coronavirus deaths have been recorded in Yorkshire over the past 24 hours as parts of the county get used to the new, stricter lockdown restrictions. A further four people who tested positive for coronavirus have been reported to have died in NHS trusts in England, bringing the total number of confirmed deaths in hospitals in the country to 29,342. The patients were aged between 78 and 84 years old and all had known underlying health conditions. Their families have been informed.

. This means the total number of coronavirus deaths in Yorkshire hospitals remains at 2,568. Bradford, Calderdale and Kirklees are affected by the newly restricted lockdown rules, as are large parts of Greater Manchester - including Trafford and Stockport - and parts of Lancashire.
