Yorkshire's 'first-ever' single malt whisky distillery is hoping its latest release will go down a treat when it's released to celebrate Yorkshire Day. Spirit of Yorkshire, Hunmanby, North Yorkshire, will be launching Filey Bay Yorkshire Day today (August 1). The whisky, limited to 1,500 bottles, will be available priced £85 from the distillery shop or online. The 55 per cent abv whisky is made from barley and water sourced and grown in Hunmanby and kept in bourbon and PX sherry casks. "With only 1,500 bottles available, Filey Bay Yorkshire Day is our rarest whisky release to date.
