Breaking News ! Omar Colley, who was linked with a January move to Sheffield United, has signed fresh terms with Sampdoria. The 28-year-old was one of a number of centre-backs reportedly on the radar of United. The Gambian international was touted as a potential arrival this month as the Blades continue to search for a player capable of filling in for Jack O'Connell. Colley was understood to be keen on a move to England, especially having been shunted to the sidelines in recent months by the Serie A club. . Colley has signed a new contract until 2025. He has made 12 appearances for 11th-placed Sampdoria this season. Blades boss Chris Wilder previously spoke of the difficulties that may lie ahead trying to persuade players from abroad to sign on loan at Bramall Lane for the second half of the season.
