Breaking News ! Armed police raced to Bradford Royal Infirmary this afternoon in response to a man threatening staff with what appeared to be a gun. It is understood A&E staff first raised the alarm while treating a patient in the x-ray department, prompting officers to rush to the hospital in Duckworth Lane at 1.40pm. A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson confirmed it was resolved quickly and led to a 26-year-old man being arrested on suspicion of possession of an imitation firearm. The 'firearm', which was later established to be an imitation firearm, has also been seized by officers.
