Breaking News ! Tributes have been paid to a 'much-loved' mum-of-four who died in a crash on the M61. Toni Shepherd, 38, was driving a Kia Sportage on the motorway on Sunday when the car was involved in a crash near the Rivington services just before 1pm. She suffered fatal injuries in the crash, which is not thought to have involved any other vehicles. The road was closed for more than four hours while accident investigators attended. The tragic incident has prompted an outpouring of grief and Toni's family today paid tribute to the 38-year-old mum from Lostock Hall, near Preston. "Toni was a ray of light in the lives of all who knew her and she was so kind hearted and trusting seeing the good in everyone.
