Breaking News ! We've made it to August - but is anyone else wondering where that last five months have gone? While we are getting back to some kind of 'normal', you may be ditching the telly habits you found yourself picking up during lockdown. But with summer not offering us as much sunny weather as we'd like - this weekend excepted - being back indoors binge watching a new series or putting on a film we haven't seen in ages may be on the cards. The Fall (season 1-3) All three seasons of the Jamie Dornan-led crime series will land on the streaming platform. Rumour Has It… Jennifer Aniston stars as Sarah Huttinger, a woman who learns that her family was the inspiration for the book and film The Graduate - and that she just might be the offspring from the well-documented event. Duplicity Two ex-government agents turned rival industrial spies have to be at the top of their game when one of their companies prepares to launch a major product - but they turn out to be each other's biggest distraction. Flipped Eighth-graders Juli and Bryce start to have feelings for each other despite being total opposites. August 2 Connected A debt collector becomes embroiled in intrigue after answering a random phone call from a stranger begging for help. August 3 The Peanut Butter Falcon Shia LaBeouf and Dakota Johnson star in this film about Zak, a young man with Down's syndrome, who runs away from his care home to make his dream of becoming a wrestler come true. August 5 Anelka: Misunderstood This new Netflix documentary follows the career of former French footballer Nicolas Anelka who played for Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Bolton Wanderers and Chelsea. August 7 Selling Sunset (season 3) The popular property series is back for another run and we rejoin the estate agents at the Oppenheim Group's brokerage firm for a look at professional, and personal, lives. High Seas (season 3) High Seas is a Spanish mystery series which follows sisters Eva and Carolina Villanueva. Following the death of their father, they travel on an ocean liner from Spain to Brazil in the late 1940s where they become embroiled in investigating mysterious deaths that occur at sea.

. August 8 Serial Killer with Piers Morgan Piers Morgan revisits the crimes of three convicted serial killers and learns more about their motives. Piers Morgan's crime series is being added to the streaming service (Image: ITV) August 11 Mr. Peabody & Sherman The time-travelling adventures of an advanced canine and his adopted son, as they endeavour to fix a time rift they created. August 14 Dirty John (season 2) Like the first season, the second installment is also based on a true story. Dirty John: The Betty Broderick Story follows Betty, who shot and killed her husband Dan and his second wife Linda in 1989. Project Power Starring Jamie Foxx, Project Power sees an ex-soldier, a teen and a cop collide in New Orleans as they hunt for the source behind a dangerous new pill that grants users temporary superpowers. Glow Up: Season 2 The BBC reality series with host Stacey Dooley is making its way to Netflix as judges Val and Dominic aim to find Britain's next big make-up artist. August 15 The Stranger: Season 2 British mystery series The Stranger, based on Harlan Coben's novel, is back for another season. August 16 Les Misérables The musical drama starring Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway will arrive on Netflix this month. Set in 19th-century France, Jean Valjean, who for decades has been hunted by the ruthless policeman Javert after breaking parole, agrees to care for a factory worker's daughter which changes their lives forever. The Sleepover In this action comedy, one wild night sees two siblings learn their overprotective mother is a highly trained former thief abducted for one last job - and only they can save her. Hoops In this Netflix sitcom, a foul-mouthed high school basketball coach is sure he'll hit the big leagues if he can only turn his terrible team around. August 25 Trinkets: Season 2 A grieving teen finds an unexpected connection with two classmates at her new high school after they all land in the same Shoplifters Anonymous group. August 28 All Together Now An optimistic, talented teen clings to a huge secret: she's homeless and living on a bus. When tragedy strikes, can she learn to accept a helping hand?
