UK Raiola drops Erling Haaland transfer hint amid Man United and Man City links last minute news
MetiNews.Com - Erling Haaland has been linked with a move to Man Utd and Manchester City and his agent has opened up on what his future may hold.
Breaking News ! Mino Raiola says only four clubs in England can afford Erling Haaland in the summer. The 20-year-old has become one of the most sought-after strikers in the world since his move to Borussia Dortmund in January 2020, having scored 43 goals in 43 matches for the German side in all competitions. Manchester United hold an interest in the Norway international, having previously rivalled Dortmund for his signature following an impressive stint at RB Salzburg in Austria, while he has been linked with Manchester City as well as they look for a long-term replacement for Sergio Aguero. United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also knows Haaland well from their time working together between 2017 and 2018 when Solskjaer moved to Old Trafford. He said: "The problem that I feel you have in England is, whenever I say my opinion - an opinion I have - everybody in England goes berserk and I’m the worst agent or the best. It doesn’t matter, 50 per cent love me, 50 per cent hate me - or 80 per cent hate me, 20 per cent love me.
. "It’s obvious, though, that everybody is looking at Erling as one of those potential future stars because it’s so difficult to do what he does at his age at this level that he’ll be one of the future stars of the next decade. "We see that stars like Ibrahimovic, Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are coming into an age where everyone asks themselves how long we can still enjoy them, so everyone is looking for the next generation. "It’s obvious that only a maximum of 10 clubs can afford to buy him from Dortmund. We can all fill in those clubs and four of those clubs are in your beautiful country. "You can fill them in, call them and ask if they’d be interested. I think there’s not a sporting director or trainer in the world who’d say they wouldn’t be interested. " It’s like saying: ‘Is there a Formula 1 team who would not be interested in having Lewis Hamilton?'"
