Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has been criticised after making contact with assistant referee Sian Massey-Ellis in the club's 1-0 win over Arsenal on Saturday evening after disputing a throw-in. Despite regulations banning players from touching officials, the striker’s actions are expected to go unpunished and the incident has left supporters and pundits questioning what they saw. City boss Pep Guardiola, however, was quick to come to the defence of his striker in the post-match press conference. Guardiola said: "Come on guys. Sergio is the nicest person I ever met in my life. Look for problems in other situations, not in this one." But Match of the Day pundits were quick to criticise Aguero on the BBC highlights show last night when quizzed about the incident by presenter Gary Lineker.
