Breaking News ! NHS England has recorded more than 1,000 Covid related deaths today, January 13. A total of 1,012 people were reported to have sadly died in English hospitals after testing positive for Covid-19. 79 deaths were recorded in Scotland, 66 deaths in Wales and 19 in Northern Ireland. The previous record for the highest number of daily deaths was April 10, when 866 deaths were announced in England.
. In Cambridgeshire, our hospitals have recorded 630 deaths according to the data provided by NHS England. This differs slightly to the data provided in the daily updates by the Government through their coronavirus dashboard, as this includes patients from outside of Cambridgeshire who have been treated in our hospitals.
