In line with McCartney's commitment towards a circular economy, the collection, which drops today, features one-off items crafted from leftover fabrics, all of which have bespoke notes of thanks from the designer sewn into them. The line features 90 one-of-a-kind pieces, including asymmetrical jumpsuits and chic suits, and was shot on model Lena Hardt by her husband Richard Jensen in their Parisian home. "‘I think in order to have sustainability in fashion, you need to think in advance," McCartney commented, speaking on the launch.

The one-off collection marks the first time the brand has launched a line of this kind, which utilises the surplus material leftover from McCartney's previous designs. (Richard Jensen) McCartney has long been a champion of sustainability, having begun her SS20 show at Paris Fashion Week with a call to arms. “The world is crying out for change and it is our responsibility to act now”, wrote the designer and environmentalist on the seats of every attendee at her show. The collection ranges from £475 to £1795 and will be available to buy from the brand's 'Members Non-Members Only' Club on the 3rd floor of its Old Bond Street store from Wednesday July 1.
