Breaking News ! Resident in a Falkirk housing estate have hit out at the local authority after they were told they'd have to pay to replace bins which were deliberately set on fire. The blaze broke out near a block of flats on Windsor Crescent in Maddiston at around 12:30am on Wednesday April, 7. Around 40 household waste bins were torched, leaving flames and smoke flying into the air. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police were called around 12.30am on Wednesday, 7 April, 2021 following the report a bin shed on fire on Windsor Crescent, Falkirk. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended and extinguished the fire safely and there were no injuries.
