Breaking News ! Kilmarnock looked like they would complete another miraculous Easter Road comeback after Chris Burke smashed home a wonder goal just before half-time. The strike came after a Martin Boyle double, which in the end was enough to send Alex Dyer's men home empty-handed. Two minutes in Killie could have went ahead as Ross Millen whipped in a teasing cross, but three players tried and failed to get on the end of it as it ended up going out for a goal kick.  But a minute later it was the hosts who were in the lead after Jake Eastwood was caught out of his box and rounded by Martin Boyle who easily tapped it home.  In the 11th minute Hibs could have doubled their lead when Boyle cleverly picked out Joe Newell, but his effort was well saved by Eastwood. And Whitehall almost equalised in the 86th minute as his looping header ended up just over the crossbar after Ross Millen's cross. Rory McKenzie had a good chance in the 90th minute but he couldn't get a strong enough shot away to trouble Marciano. Killie's late pressure failed to pay off as they couldn't grab the equaliser.
