BBC Weather is predicting around five hours of snowfall as well as forecasting a huge drop in temperatures as a cold spell descends over the city. The potential flurry comes as Storm Christoph pulls away from the UK after causing heavy rainfall in some parts of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. On Sunday (January 24), snow is expected to fall for a number of hours across central Peterborough and its surrounding areas.
