Breaking News ! Emergency services are responding to a serious crash in the Trossachs. The horror incident which happened just north of Balfron has led to the closure of both carriageways of the A81. An air ambulance has been deployed but its is unclear how many vehicles are involved or the nature of any casualties. The happened around 3.40pm this afternoon but emergency services remain at the scene. .40pm to a report of a crash involving two motorbikes on the A81 near Balfron Station.
“The Scottish Ambulance Service is in attendance and the road is currently closed." Earlier this year a cyclist was found unconscious on the same stretch of road after being struck by a car in a hit-and-run.
