Emergency services were called at around 9.50am on Sunday following reports that a member of the public had taken unwell. Cops and paramedics soon arrived at Wellington Street in the Leith area of the capital but the man was pronounced dead a short time later. A spokesman said: “Police were called around 9.50am on Sunday, 18 October, 2020 following the report of a man taking unwell on Wellington Street, Edinburgh. ”Emergency services attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
