." The call reached Holyrood's petitions committee on Thursday and was promptly turned down. Convener Johann Lamont said the flag is already flown once a year. "There's a consensus that regardless of people's individual views on flying flags at any particular time, the Scottish Government has made t very clear there are no plans to do this," she said.
