A man, believed to be in his 20s, was taken to hospital for treatment following the incident. His injuries are not thought to be serious. A spokesperson for GMP said: "At around 12.50am on Sunday 2 August 2020, police were called to reports of an fight in Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester City Centre. "Officers attended but the group dispersed prior to their arrival. "A man in his 20s has been to hospital. His injuries aren’t believed to be life threatening."
