Breaking News ! Pep Guardiola has taken a strong squad with him to Hungary for the first leg of Manchester City's Champions League tie. The Blues take on Borussia Monchengladbach in the last-16 of the European competition, with the game being played at the Puskas Arena in Budapest rather than at the home of their opponents because of Covid restrictions. And with Nathan Ake the only member of the group not fit enough to be in training, the City boss has an array of talent at his disposal. Ilkay Gundogan and Kevin De Bruyne both made the plane after making their first starts at Arsenal following their injuries, while Sergio Aguero is also included as he looks for his first minutes since the beginning of the year. Scott Carson travels as the third goalkeeper, with Zack Steffen and Ederson in front of him.

With UEFA allowing 23 players in the matchday squad, everyone that has gone to Hungary will be named either on the bench or in the starting XI.
