Breaking News ! Bolton Wanderers boss Ian Evatt feels wing-back Gethin Jones will only improve following his recent successful return to the team after a spell out injured. The 25-year-old has recently spent more than a month on the sidelines since coming off injured with ankle joint damage in the victory over Harrogate Town. He recently returned to the team in last week's 2-0 victory over Salford City, playing the full match as Wanderers returned to winning ways. He followed it up with another assured performance in yesterday's 2-1 victory over Stevenage as the Trotters picked up back-to-back wins in League Two for the first time this season. Jones has played on the left while Peter Kioso has lined up on the right, showing his versatility to play on either flank and teed up Ali Crawford for Bolton';s second goal, which proved to be the winner. And Evatt believes Jones will only get better upon his return to the team, with the wing-back hitting the running targets that the Wanderers head coach demands despite being out injured for six weeks and only having a limited time back training. He said: “He is versatile.

. "We ask a lot from our wing-backs in terms of their data and how much they have to run and he’s still hitting the metric, which is credit to him and the way he looks after himself. "He’ll only improve." We can’t really single out individuals because it’s more of a team effort and a team performance but I’m delighted with the way we’re going."
