Breaking News ! Staff at a Yorkshire nursery have been left heartbroken after yobs damaged  a shed full of children’s toys. Little Feet Creche in Skipton was vandalised by “disrespectful and thoughtless” teenagers who broke into the shed and used it as a "drug and drinking den" last week. Due to the damaged they caused when they broke in, it has now been pulled down. Manager of the creche, Emma Nicholson said she was left 'upset' after seeing the damage as the directors had worked hard to get a grant for the shed. The creche had originally crowdfunded to fund for better locks and doors after the shed was broken into back in April during the lockdown. They managed to source funds to fix the doors but unfortunately, they were targeted again. The shed was used as storage for all the toys for the kids that were in.

A crowdfunding page has now been started to help raise money to buy a replacement shed for the community funded creche. Due to coronavirus they do not have enough money to purchase a shed by themselves. Usually money would be raised through events held throughout the year, grants and entrance fees. The page set up by a parent who used to send her son to the creche, reads: "The creche showed us some bad, disturbing pictures of the damage and misuse to their outside shed that is going to cost them a fortune to replace and put the correct security in place to ensure this doesn't happen again. "Especially when we were told our boy couldn't/shouldn't socialise with other children as his immunity was so weak, but we took a chance and it was the best start in life for him and he still talks about Creche n sees some of his friends n the staff who are always so lovely to him. "Me and my hubby are so grateful for all they did for us n Ethan so we are going to try to raise some funds for them to put towards their new shed and security for it. "Let's all pull together and help the amazing Crèche."
