The group, which was set up in Attock Park in response to a spate of youth violence in the area around a decade ago, has used donations from local cycling groups and the skills of volunteer mechanics to get 31 working bikes out to children in the local area. 31 children in Bradford have already been given a free bike by the volunteer group Ibrar Ali, a volunteer with Bradford Moor PASS, said: "The cycles we received this time were toddler and children bikes for five to 10-year-olds. "They were all scrap bikes donated by Adrian from OnTrack, Wibsey, with the view that our trained cycle mechanics and volunteers would take the parts and put together as many cycles as we can. "Three or four weeks before that we had a donation of around 40 adult bikes from Capital of Cycling in Bradford.

"We want to keep young people away from drug dealers" Ibar explained: "There was a lot of violence in Bradford at the time and a group of parents came together to reclaim the land around Attock Park. "We have a massive, massive drug problem in Bradford and we want to keep young people away from drug dealers and away from other types of crime.
