Breaking News ! Officers have arrested two more people in connection with a fatal shooting in Mexborough. South Yorkshire Police were called to Wath Road, Mexborough, at 4.26pm on Monday to reports of a shooting, which they believe was a "targeted attack". The victim, who has been named locally as 20-year-old Lewis Williams, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Now officers investigating his murder have made two further arrests. A 20-year-old man from the Rotherham area was arrested on January 12 on suspicion of assisting an offender.
. They both remain in police custody.

So far five people have been arrested in connection with Lewis' death. The three other people, a 20-year-old man and two boys aged 16 and 17 all arrested on suspicion of murder on January 12 remain in police custody. South Yorkshire Police say that enquiries are still ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact 101 quoting incident number 495 of January 11.
