Breaking News ! John Lundstram will today learn the results of a scan leaving him a doubt to feature for Sheffield United against Tottenham on Thursday. The midfielder was forced off injured during the Blades’ FA Cup quarter-final defeat to Arsenal at Bramall Lane on Sunday, wrapping his left arm into a sling as he walked off. Lundstram has been a key point of the Blades’ squad this season and is their joint-top scorer in the Premier League this season. Manager Chris Wilder admits that it will be a late call on the midfielder and that the results of his scan will determine whether he features or not against Spurs at Bramall Lane on Thursday evening. “He has a scan today, so we will know the outcome of the scan this morning,” said Wilder earlier today. “Looking back at it, it looked like an awkward fall, so I imagine he will be touch and go for Thursday night. We are all dependent on the results of the scan." . “His attitude is spot on and he will be doing everything that he possibly can in his power to make that happen as soon as possible. We just have to make that right decision for the medium and long term with these types of injuries as well. Pound for pound, since we have come back, he has produced consistent performances and that is what I am looking for, consistent performances. I’ve got difficult decisions to make. There is a couple of players that need to up their game a bit and get back to the standard that they have set that has allowed us to play in the manner that we have done.”
