Breaking News ! A grieving mum has revealed her heartbreak after her "kind, loving and caring" daughter died after her skin turned yellow and she slipped into a coma. Dani Housley, 26, from Doncaster, died on July 14, from pneumonia and organ failure after parents Sharon and Simon Housley had no choice but to turn off her life support machine. Her shock deterioration has devastated her family. Sharon realised something was not right with Dani when she noticed all her skin had turned yellow on June 22. "She was all yellow from top to bottom - her eyeballs, everything," Sharon, who is 48, said. "Her sister Jamie-Lee said to her, 'you're a funny colour Dani' and I kept telling her she needed to go to hospital." Eventually, Dani was admitted to Ward 24 at Doncaster Royal Infirmary where she was given vitamins and blood transfusions. Dani, her mum Sharon, and sister Jamie-Lee were inseparable as a trio However, a rapid decline in her health saw Dani be admitted to intensive care on July 5. She was placed in a coma but her organs began to fail and she never woke up. "She was in a paralysed coma and it was only the ventilator and the oxygen that was keeping her alive," Sharon said. "The night before she went into ICU she was laughing and joking with her dad and we find it hard knowing that she went from that to slipping into a coma and never waking up." This enabled her to carry on working and not endanger her younger sister Jamie-Lee who suffers from several severe, life-limiting illnesses.
. Dani's funeral was on July 30 and although only 20 mourners were allowed to attend the service, dozens congregated outside to pay their respects. Paying tribute, Sharon said: "She was funny, stubborn, lovely and caring. She put everybody else before herself and other people's health before her own."

On a GoFundMe page set up to raise money for Dani's funeral, it says: "She will be sadly missed by not only her colleagues but service users alike. "She lit up any room and cared for each and every individual like they were her own. "Dani has made a massive hole in a lot of people’s hearts, especially her mum and Jamie-Lee as the three of them together were the dream team. Such a lovely, caring and wonderful family." The fundraiser in memory of Dani, who also had two brothers called Cameron and Matthew, has so far raised more than £4,700.
