The Esports and Gaming Show on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Spreaker. We used FIFA 20 to have a bit of fun and get a unique prediction ahead of this Monday evening Premier League clash between Liverpool and Arsenal. Liverpool vs Arsenal score predicted using FIFA To set up this simulation, we used kick-off mode within FIFA 20 but didn't select a team to control. We then selected the teams and watched the match play out by itself, to give us a unique prediction. The AI difficulty was set to legendary, with the line-up updated with the latest transfers, injuries and suspensions, to make the simulation as realistic as possible. Obviously, as we're using FIFA 20, with FIFA 21 not currently available yet, all of the kits are a season old. We predict that Liverpool could set up in a 4-3-3 formation, with the line-up as follows; Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Van Dijk, Robertson; Thiago, Wijnaldum, Keita; Salah, Firmino, Mane. We predict that Arsenal could set up in a 3-4-3 formation, with their lineup as follows: Leno; Holding, Luiz, Gabriel; Bellerin, Ceballos, Xhaka, Maitland-Niles, Willian, Lacazette, Aubameyang. Liverpool flew out of the traps in our simulation, taking just 11 minutes to open the scoring against Arsenal, with Thiago Alcantara scoring a goal on his home debut.
The home side continued to dominate the game, but had to wait until just under the hour mark to double their lead. Sadio Mane beat Hector Bellerin on the left, before cutting the ball back to Roberto Firmino in the area, who swivelled and finished into the far corner.
And just five minutes later it was 3-0, with Alexander-Arnold grabbing another assist. The England full-back got to the byline and fired a cross into the six-yard box, where Naby Keita was waiting unmarked to tap home.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang did get a goal back at the death, scoring a penalty in the 90th minute after being fouled by Virgil van Dijk.
But Arsenal's winning run against Liverpool was over, with the Reds securing a win at Anfield.
Full-time FIFA score: Liverpool 3-1 Arsenal Here are the full-time match stats.
Arsenal couldn't quite get hold of the ball as much as they would have wanted to against Liverpool, with the home side having the majority of possession and chances overall. FIFA 20 predicts that Arsenal's recent good form against Jurgen Klopp's side could come to an end at Anfield on Monday, with goals from Thiago, Roberto Firmino and Naby Keita doing the damage for the Gunners, despite Aubameyang's late goal. As always, this FIFA 20 sim is a bit of fun ahead of the game, so let's see what happens at Anfield on Monday evening.
