It is also the first time Spurs have done so after at least nine top-flight games since January 1985. Jose Mourinho's side sit top of the pile after their 2-0 win over Pep Guardiola's Manchester City at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday evening. Tottenham have won back-to-back league games against City for the first time since October 2016. They will remain at the summit unless Leicester City beat Liverpool today or the Reds beat the Foxes by a 10-goal margin. What was equally pleasing for Mourinho was the impact of summer signing Giovani lo Celso, who scored 35 seconds after replacing Tanguy Ndombele. So with that in mind, here are the latest Tottenham transfer rumours. Winks loan tipped The 24-year-old will look to leave Spurs on loan in January to secure his spot in England's European Championship squad, according to Danny Mills. The former Leeds and Manchester City defender told Football Insider Winks will find it difficult to force his way back into Spurs' midfield. He did not even make the bench for yesterday's win over City and the midfielder said on international duty that his situation at the club was "difficult at the moment". Mills said: “In January he’s got to be looking at a move because you’ve got [Pierre-Emile] Hojbjerg who has come in with [Moussa] Sissoko and Ndombele who has turned things around with Mourinho. Hojbjerg is just going to sit and I think he is probably underrated. “Mourinho knows what he needs, he knows the player for that position that he wants, he knows what he wants him to do and he hasn’t brought in the stellar name but the player who can play how he wants him to.” Sanchez not rated by Mourinho Davinson Sanchez has been tipped for a January exit (Image: Angelo Blankespoor/Soccrates/Getty Images) The 24-year-old has played nine times for Spurs this season but just four times in the Premier League. The defender has played second fiddle to Eric Dier and Toby Alderweireld and speculation is growing he is not rated that highly by Mourinho and could be sold or go out on loan. Sanchez was axed completely from the matchday squad for the three Premier League matches before the international break. Joe Rodon was the back-up centre-back on the bench for each of those matches, while Ben Davies can also fill in in the middle of the defence. “This isn’t what I dreamed of. All players want to play as much as possible, but the coach decides who gets to go on the pitch," he told TV2. “It is a strange situation, as the fans want to see me playing more and so would I, but the coach has different ideas and as a player I have to respect that.” Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport said Inter boss Antonio Conte would consider a swap deal between Eriksen and Gunners midfielder Granit Xhaka.

And former Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell says they should not be put off by the player's Spurs history. Campbell said: “I do not care if he played for Spurs – he is a superb player who can bring something to the table for Arsenal. “I would not mind it if we swapped Eriksen for Xhaka. The key is building and fattening that squad up to challenge and you can never have enough quality players.”
