"We're starting to get players back," he said, speaking at his pre-match press conference. "Mamadou Sakho is the latest of course. However, he has suggested that some of those players won't be ready to face United, with Hodgson hinting at when Christian Benteke could return to action for Palace. "You can't get players back in training for one day after missing months," he said. "We're talking about a highly competitive game and players who will need to show a consistent period of training that they're ready. One or two sessions doesn't do that. "We'll see how Christian comes through tomorrow, we might get him some U23 minutes on Monday. "We have players who are technically back but still have a lot to do before I or they believe they are ready for 90 minutes of Premier League football."
