Rudiger deal still alive Tottenham Hotspur reportedly made a move for Antonio Rudiger during the summer transfer window, expressing interest in a late loan move for the Chelsea defender. The move was rejected by Rudiger who didn't want to complicate his relationship with the Blues by spending time with a direct rival and then returning, according to reports. However, the German central defender could yet wind up in North London with Eurosport now saying Chelsea are open to selling Rudiger in the winter window. Rudiger made his first performance of the Premier League season for Chelsea on Saturday afternoon, as he helped his side keep a clean sheet against Newcastle.
