Breaking News ! Here is your Chelsea morning digest on Wednesday, February 24. West Ham want £100m for Rice West Ham United will only accept an offer 'north of £100million' for reported Chelsea transfer target Declan Rice in the summer window. That's according to talkSPORT host Jim White, who says he's been in conversation with the Hammers joint-chairman David Sullivan. White said, via Sports Lens: “David Sullivan has already told me it’s got to be north of £100 million or they won’t entertain it. We’ll wait and see what happens with that.” Rice was reportedly on the Blues' radar last summer but the Irons were demanding £80m for his services, which put the west London club off a little bit. Christensen stars in Atleti win Andreas Christensen was superb in Chelsea's 1-0 Champions League win over Atletico Madrid on Tuesday evening. The Blues edged the La Liga leaders thanks to a fine overhead kick from Olivier Giroud, but it was a defensive masterclass from Thomas Tuchel's side in Bucharest. Christensen was dominant in the air all night-long and did a brilliant job to keep the ever-energetic Luis Suarez relatively quiet all evening. Giroud didn't have much to do up front for Chelsea despite his sublime goal, but if that's the only thing the Frenchman does all game, then so be it. Mason Mount and Marcos Alonso also put in solid performances for Tuchel's side, who now have the away goal advantage, despite the game being played at a neutral venue. Blues suffer huge Mount blow Mason Mount will have to sit out of Chelsea's second-leg with Atletico Madrid after the midfielder picked up his third yellow card of the Champions League campaign. Mount was booked after just 35 seconds and UEFA rules state that if a player is cautioned three times, then they will serve a one-match suspension. The 22-year-old was booked twice in the Blues' group stage meaning Tuchel will be without one of his key men for the decisive game. Jorginho will also be unavailable after the Italian was shown a yellow card in Bucharest. Hakim Ziyech and Mateo Kovacic are also one booking away from having to serve a one-game suspension.
