Martinelli hands Arteta boost Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli has not suffered any significant damage to his ankle, according to a report from The Guardian. Martinelli was supposed to start the Gunners' FA Cup win over Newcastle United at the weekend, but injured himself in the warm-up. After recently returning to full fitness from a long-term injury, there was plenty of concern when the Brazilian youngster went down. However, the report claims that the 19-year-old has not suffered any serious damage to his ankle, handing Arteta a huge injury boost. It's been reported that the teenager will miss Arsenal's clash with Crystal Palace on Thursday, but could be in contention for next week's meeting with Newcastle.
