Breaking News ! An emotional Bethan Kershaw revealed she'd been targeted by online trolls after admitting she was struggling with her mental health. The current Geordie Shore cast member took to Instagram last week, which was Mental Health Awareness Week, to make a candid post about feeling like she was going to "break down" after becoming overwhelmed by everything. Bethan returned to the social media platform on Sunday and, telling her many followers that time away from her phone had helped to clear her head, she also uploaded a series of photos to give them a sense of how she'd been feeling. The photos saw her with a tear stained face and after telling fans "it gets easier I promise," Chloe Ferry's best mate wrote: "I sometimes still struggle now, over the past couple of weeks running up to mental health awareness week I've found myself becoming so anxious and sad.

. "I'm so open on my social media about mental health and this time last year I was struggling too. I feel like speaking about my struggles openly can potentially be a trigger for me, so I've took a few days off my phone completely, no social media, no WhatsApp no nothing and I can honestly say it has done me the world of good! While Bethan, who first shot to fame on ITV2 show Ibiza Weekender, thanked fans for their messages of support, she also revealed that she'd been sent hurtful messages from trolls as she added: "You have to be pretty f***ing f***ed up to try and troll someone on a mental health post. "I've deleted most and blocked loads of people already but imagine that. "Some people will never understand the pain they can cause with their words. Luckily I'm strong enough to know what they say is only a reflection of their mind and that's for them to do some self-evaluation."
