Breaking News ! Annoyed Strictly Come Dancing fans are claiming that contestants' chances of doing well in the competition are being 'sabotaged' by bad song choices. Over the years, the musical output on Strictly has been eclectic to say the very least as Dave Arch, his fabulous band and singers have lent their talents to everything from Defying Gravity from Wicked to PJ and Duncan's Let's Get Ready to Rhumble - yes we're looking at you Chris Ramsey! But the song choices so far this series have left many viewers distinctly unimpressed. There have been some amazing numbers, including Ranvir and Giovanni's sizzling Argentine tango to Prince's When Doves Cry and Bill Bailey's unforgettable routine to Sugarhill Gang's Rappers' Delight, but for people watching at home, other songs have fallen flat, due to them not matching the dance style at all or just not being memorable enough. (Image: PA) And on Saturday night it was Clara Amfo's song that was the catalyst for fans' complaints after the radio host went from top of the leaderboard to rock bottom, from a score of 29 to just 18 after her rather awkward samba to That's The Way I Like It. While, also unhappy at the judges' scoring, one fan took to Twitter to rant: "The problem with Clara Amfo and Aljaž Škorjanec was the music choice!!!! Not a samba song at all!!" In firm agreement, another tweeted: "Has anyone been sabotaged by the Producers choice of song as much as Clara just has been. I’m no expert, but that was a bloody awful song choice to...

Clara and Aljaz could’ve been so much better if they’d had actual samba music to dance to rather than the sliver that was in the middle" Read More Related Articles Strictly Come Dancing judges told to 'give their heads a wobble' by angry viewers over 'joke' scores Read More Related Articles Strictly's Giovanni gives Ranvir 'secret' message after red hot Argentine Tango While it was Clara and Aljaz's song choice that provoked the most anger, plenty of people watching Saturday's live show felt the song choice on a whole were disappointing. Sharing their frustrations on Twitter, one posted: "Terrible music choices on Strictly this week. The only one that fitted with its dance was "I've Got You Under My Skin" for Bill's American Smooth. "Clara was doomed from the start with a particularly terrible and inappropriate song choice, that was too slow for the dance." And former Strictly pro James Jordan echoed those sentiments in his post where he wrote: "The song choices this week have been SO bad." He asked his followers to vote in a poll on the subject and 91% agreed with him.
