Breaking News ! Newcastle United fans have voiced their concern over how their football club is being run in stark feedback garnered by the Newcastle United Supporters' Trust (NUST). This month, the NUST looked to its members to provide opinion on the current state of the club. The Trust had been keen to provide Newcastle United with feedback from members on how they view the club currently - including how the club communicates with fans and how the club is progressing (or not) as a sporting entity. In a survey sample of 837 NUST members, 89% of members do not think Newcastle United is a well run club, while fewer than 1% think the club communicates well with its supporters. 93% of members are also not satisfied with the transparency of Newcastle United over the club's future amid constant takeover talk, and a similar number of members are concerned over talk of 'Project Big Picture'. Meanwhile, on the pitch over 95% of members are dissatisfied that the current first-team squad and management is making strides in taking Newcastle to the next level.

. "These results are not surprising but it is a stark reminder of where Newcastle United currently sit and the relationship the club has with its supporters which needs to improve dramatically," Greg Tomlinson, chair of the NUST, told Chronicle Live. While the noise around the prospective takeover continues, we will continue to do what we can through the channels that are open to us, to put pressure on the Premier League and call for transparency. "It is also absolutely vital that Newcastle United does not fall asleep at the wheel again, which could potentially result in another harmful relegation. We've been told that the club has learned its lessons from previous similar situations but actions will speak louder than words in that regard and it is clear the club is treading water and not making progress.
