Breaking News ! Little Mix's performance in the Radio 1 Live Lounge sparked concern on Tuesday after Jesy Nelson suffered a panic attack moments before their performance. And now Jesy. who won an award for her heartbreaking documentary Odd One Out earlier this year, has now revealed she suffered a panic attack just as the girls were all set to perform a cover of Harry Styles hit Falling. Jesy's bandmates Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock rushed to try and help her as her anxiety took over, while Perrie Edwards stepped in to sing her parts, before Jesy joined into finish the set. Admitting what happened once their Live Lounge set had finished, Jesy, 29, took to social media to post: "So my nerves got the better of me today and I had panic attack right before we were about to sing this for live lounge today and like a pro @perrieedwards jumped in for my part last minute and smashed it," before sharing a clip of the performance the X Factor winning girl group gave in rehearsals. "I am so proud of you for carrying on through it that takes real strength and I hope you know how much you are loved by so many of us and how out of a bad situation you are going to help so many people see that they aren’t alone and that it’s nothing to be ashamed of."

Sending her well wishes, another fan tweeted: "I hope Jesy is feeling a bit better now, having a panic attack is horrible but the support these girls give to each other is beyond beautiful.," while another Twitter user, who admitted they weren't actually a Little Mix fan commented: "So Jesy Nelson had a panic attack and couldn't perform with her Little Mix band mates. Forget what I think of Little Mix. Strip away the gloss and all you get is an ordinary person." Little Mix will soon be back on the BBC in their own talent show The Search. Hosted by Chris Ramsey, the contest to find a group to support the girls on tour, was due to start earlier this year but its air date and further filming were postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
