Breaking News ! Police are searching for a missing 60-year-old man from Newcastle. Edwin Jones was last seen leaving an address on Jenifer Grove, Heaton, at about 11.15am on Sunday morning. Nobody has heard from Edwin since and police are now growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

. He is described as white, 6ft 2in tall and was last seen wearing brown chord trousers, a green fleece top and slippers – and was in possession of a retractable dog lead. A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said: "A search is ongoing to locate Edwin, and we’re now asking anyone who may have seen him or who know his whereabouts to get in touch. "Edwin, or anyone who has seen him, is asked to ring 101 quoting reference 433 141120."
