MetiNews.Com - MP Dehenna Davison jumped to the defence of her constituents after the slur was made by the former housemate
Breaking News ! Bishop Auckland's MP has defended the town after a former Big Brother housemate branded constituents 'hillbillies'. The slur came from Natalie Rowe, a former dominatrix who used to go by the name Miss Whiplash. She embarked in an angry Twitter row with MP Dehenna Davison after the politician proudly announced she had "just voted to '#Get Brexit Done" by backing Boris Johnson's controversial Internal Markets Bill. She was one of 340 MPs to vote in favour of the bill, which overrides part of the UK's Brexit agreement with the EU. It also breaches international law. Some on Twitter took exception to the Tory MP's tweet, which was accompanied with a Union Jack emoji. Among them, Trigger Happy TV comedian Dom Joly who replied to the County Durham MP with a foul mouthed tweet. However, it was Ms Rowe who sparked the biggest response. The bill was backed by all but 32 Tory MPs. Of those, two rejected it while another 30 abstained. But it wasn't the claim of attention seeking that sparked a backlash from Miss Davison, but the aspersion cast on her constituents from the second person evicted from the house in 2016.

“I suggest you take a moment to step back and reflect on what a ridiculous, offensive statement you have just tweeted. “How dare you refer to Bishop Auckland residents in such a way.”

The former sex worker doubled down on her statement by branding the MP "Ms Hillbilly", before adding: “I said what I said. “You’re the one that voted to break international law. “Now go and cry in your river of shame.” The bill is designed to allow the free-flow of goods across the UK once we leave the EU's single market and customs union next year. However, controversially, it lets the Government change legally-binding aspects of the EU withdrawal agreement. The PM said the move would preserve the UK's "economic and political integrity". However, it is now set to go before the House of Lords where it is likely to face tough scrutiny, while it is also facing constant criticism on both benches in the Commons. Labour said it was "trashing" the UK's reputation.
