Breaking News ! Flash flooding has hit parts of Greater Manchester after heavy rain fell across the region overnight. Diamond North West bus service said many of their routes across the region are experiencing delays this morning due to flooding. "Please be advised, due to flooding across the Greater Manchester area, many of our routes are experiencing delays, please give extra time for your journey", the bus operator said in a tweet. There are also reports of flooding on Queens Road in Miles Platting. According to traffic alert service, the road is partially blocked due to flooding near the A62 Oldham Road at the railway bridge. Met Office forecasters predict that more rain will hit the region throughout the day. Heavy rain showers are forecast from around 11am.
