The actress was just 20-years-old when she landed the part of Tina McIntyre on the ITV soap, a role she kept for for six years between 2008 and 2014. Now 33, Michelle has been reflecting on her career so far in an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine. "It wasn't something that I necessarily really wanted to do. "Now that I'm older, I realise that it is OK to say no to something that you don't feel 100 per cent happy with. You don't have to do it because you think you have to do it." But the Our Girl and Brassic star was quick to point out it wasn't anything to do with pressure from Corrie.

A few years ago it didn't bother me and I answered the question, but now I think, 'I don’t need to answer that' because nobody knows what goes on behind closed doors," she said. "I remember when I finished Our Girl people were like, 'is it because you're going off to have a baby?' "I know for a fact if Mark finished a job, nobody would as him if he was going to have a baby. "It's not fair. It does make me feel frustrated." The release of Michelle's interview comes after Heart Radio presenter Mark revealed that the couple want children, and they've already picked out a name for their future daughter.
