Breaking News ! Matt Hancock has been challenged on Good Morning Britain on whether teachers could be 'bumped up' the priority vaccine list. The governments aim is to have offered the top four priority groups - including the clinically extremely vulnerable and care home residents - either the Pfizer or Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine by mid-February. During an appearance on GMB, the Health Secretary was challenged by Susanna Reid as to whether key workers will be the next in line for the Covid vaccines. Mr Hancock said: "I think that teachers and police officers and shop workers have got a good case that they should be next, as opposed to just carrying on through the age range. "It is certainly something that we are looking at but we haven't made a final decision on it yet." The health secretary also has said it should become clear in the next few days whether lockdown measures in England are bringing down the rate of coronavirus infections.

. I hope that is what we start to see over the next few days. "The few days ahead of us is the critical period to know whether this national lockdown is working."
