Breaking News ! A man and a woman have been charged after two people were hurt in an alleged shooting in Cheetham Hill. Hemen Mohammed Ali, 28, also known as Hazhar Anwar, of Redfield Close, Beswick, has been charged with five offences. GMP said the charges are possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear and violence; conspiring to cause grievous bodily harm with intent; possession with intent to supply controlled drugs, namely cocaine; being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, namely cocaine; and being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, namely heroin. Greater Manchester police said in a statement: "On Friday November 15, 2019, two men - aged 20 and 18 - were seriously injured after suffering gunshot wounds to the leg on Copthall Lane in Cheetham Hill." A 20-year-old man arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs has been questioned and released on bail, the force added.
