Breaking News ! Three more people have died with coronavirus in Greater Manchester's hospitals. It means the region's hospital death toll now stands at 2,548, according to the latest NHS figures. All three deaths were recorded at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. There have now been 260 deaths at the region's hospitals during October. There were 592.5 cases per 100,000 people in Oldham, in the week leading up to October 21.

Across the country the average infection rate is now 207.5. On Monday a further 91 coronavirus-related deaths were recorded in hospitals in England. It brings the total number of confirmed deaths reported in hospitals to 31,910, NHS England said. Patients were aged between 44 and 95. All had known underlying health conditions.
