MetiNews.Com - Saturday's Randox Grand National will see 40 competitors take on the world-famous Aintree racecourse
Breaking News ! The Grand National is just around the corner - and all the runners and riders have now been confirmed. As one of the biggest sporting events in the world, the Aintree race is able to take place despite the country being in lockdown. There won't be any spectators however, but this is a huge improvement after it was cancelled altogether last year amid the first national lockdown. Instead, a computer-simulated race took its place, won by Potters Corner, which was still broadcast on TV. Saturday's Randox Grand National race will see 40 competitors take on the unique course across four and a half miles. Tiger Roll was dubbed to win this year before being withdrawn, making way for some new favourites. The race will start at 5.15pm and live coverage of the race will be broadcast on ITV1. Just click through above and print out the A4-sized kit. We have included the names of the 40 top horses, plus four reserves, should any of the top 40 pull out, along with a guide to each horse’s form. Cut out the names, throw them in a bag or box, and get your friends or family to draw a ticket and fill in the list, with the details of who has picked which horse. We suggest charging £2 a ticket, which will give you a kitty of £80. The winner will take away £40, the second £25, the third £10 and the fourth a fiver. Good luck!
