Breaking News ! A further 74 coronavirus-related deaths have been recorded bringing the UK's death toll to 46,193. According to figures published on the Public Health England (PHE) data dashboard, an additional 74 deaths were recorded in 24 hours, and a further 771 coronavirus tests came back positive. As of Saturday, August 1, the total number of lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in the UK is 303,952. The death toll includes deaths in hospitals, care homes and the wider community.
