Breaking News ! Former Coronation Street star Oliver Farnworth has found love with ex-EastEnders star Samantha Womack. The couple first met while starring together in the acclaimed tour of The Girl on the Train, which played at Salford's Lowry Theatre in 2019. Now Samantha has confirmed their relationship posting a series of loved-up snaps with Oliver on her official Twitter account. Captioning them: "Some of his gorgeous face", they show the pair on country walks and cuddled up together. TV and theatre star Samantha, 48, announced last year that her marriage to husband Mark Womack had ended in 2018 - but they had continued to live together amicably with their children. And in a sweet message of support, Mark replied to her pictures with Oli over the weekend saying "looking good kid. Nice pics" with a loveheart emoji.

Samantha famously played Ronnie Mitchell in EastEnders for two separate four year stints and was involved in some of the soap's biggest storylines. Her character also met a terrible soap end when she drowned trying to save Roxy Mitchell in 2017. Oliver and Samantha's on-stage chemistry was praised by fans and critics during The Girl on the Train theatrical run in 2019, in the show adapted for the stage from the hit book and film.

When they performed at The Lowry, Oliver was supported by a host of his Corrie star pals at the opening night including Dean Fagan, Sair Khan, Alexandra Mardell and Tisha Merry.
