. The site of a number of bars in Croydon town centre were supposedly haunted from the 1970s until recently when the building was demolished. According to John Fraser's new book, Poltergeists - A New Investigation into Destructive Haunting, a number of strange incidents occurred at the building in Park Street. The book, which was published on Friday (July 31), states that the building was home to a number of bars over the years, including King Cellars Bar, Goodies Wine Bar and Bar Latino.
