Breaking News ! “We’ve probably experienced people who are more suicidal in the last few months,” according to mental health nurse Daniel Warner. “Just before I called you I took a call from someone who was isolated, not much support around and no contact with some family and friends, can’t tolerate another three months of this and feels desperate and suicidal.” Mr Warner is the team manager at the mental health crisis line for people suffering mental health issues in Kensington and Chelsea, Westminster, Brent, Harrow and Hillingdon.
. They handled their highest number of calls to date with 7,500 in October after the end of the first lockdown and the summer break. “That was the busiest month we’ve ever had,” said Mr Warner.
