Located just south of Alexandra Palace and its stunning skyline views, Crouch End is a lovely Victorian suburban area with a great café culture, plenty of green space and some stunning architecture. It has been referred to as an 'undiscovered North London gem', and there are many celebrities who would certainly agree - they've made the 'village' their home.
. National treasure comedian Alan Carr is a resident of Crouch End, as is Doctor Who actor David Tennant, Hot Fuzz's Simon Pegg and Canadian comedian Katherine Ryan, whose Netflix show The Duchess had us all in stitches in 2020. So what makes Crouch End such a great place to live?

A creative atmosphere Crouch End has long been associated with the arts and creativity. In the 1970s, artists, musicians, film and TV makes and performers of all kinds flocked to the area because it had cheap rent prices. The community flourished, and the artsy atmosphere can still be felt today - it's rumoured that a higher than average proportion of Crouch End's population work in creative industries. Downstairs at the King's Head is one of the oldest comedy clubs in Britain, and ArtHouse Crouch End has a live art space, a theatre, musical and comedy acts and two cinema screens, specialising in independent and foreign films.
