...anything! While I was able to pass through passport control saliva-swab free, my mum was not quite as lucky. So to the test centre we were sent.
The test was over and done with in no time
To be fair, the test was done quicker than you can say 'Covid', and was nowhere near as scary as I had imagined. I'd pictured an immediate positive test result, followed by a trapdoor sliding from under our feet and dropping us straight into a dingy quarantine prison of positive passengers. But it wasn't really quite as dramatic.
